How many calories do you REALLY need?

Step 1: Don’t worry if you aren’t a math pro this calorie formula is simple!
(__________x 4.5) + (_________x 15.88) – (_________x 5) – 161=_________
weight height (inches) age total
Step 2: Multiply your total by the appropriate percentage below
If you’re….
- Sedentary multiply the total by 20%
- Lightly Active multiply the total by 30%
- Moderately Active multiply the total by 40%
- Very Active multiply the total by 50%
Step 3: Fine your calorie goal
Total # 1 + Total # 2= daily calorie total
Extra!!! If you are trying to lose weight subtract 250 calories per day to shed one-half pounds per week. Or subtract 500 calories to drop one pound per week.
